Assignment 02

Assignment 2 introduces the concept of acceleration, and defines acceleration in terms of the rate-of-change definition.  You will also learn to estimate a best-fit line for a set of data.

In Assignment 2 you will begin in the Introductory Problem Set assignment to work with the idea of acceleration (rate at which velocity changes).

In a lab-related exercise you will learn to construct a scatter graph of data and estimate the slope and intercept of a line of best fit.

In the text you will continue to work on previously assigned questions and problems from the first chapter.

In a 'randomized problem' you will learn to reason out the acceleration of an object which starts from rest and accelerates uniformly through a given displacement in a given time interval.
