Problem Sets
The Introductory Problem Sets consist of solved problems. You are to
completely master these problems at the level appropriate to your course. Problems
from these sets will be included on tests.
- Principles of Physics (Physics 121-122) students need to be able to solve each
problem and document and explain the solution.
- General College Physics (Physics 201-202) students must be able to solve each
problem, completely document and explain the solution, and generalize the solution.
- University Physics (Physics 241, 242, 231, 232) students must demonstrate
complete mastery of each problem, including all types of solutions, diagrams or figures,
and all the nuances of the solution.
The Randomized Problems are to be selected at random, as specified, and solved
in detail.
