The problem:

Answer the following:

• How accurately do you think you can measure the time between two events using the TIMER program?

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

With roughly a 5% error due to distractions (TV, Children, and Dogs.).

#$&*

• What is the shortest time interval you think you would be able to measure with reasonable accuracy?

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

a 3.0 seconds seems quite reasonable. More would get easier while less would get harder.

#$&*

• How does the percent error in timing intervals change as the time between the events gets smaller?

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

Due to a little error in a short time period would multiply the percent error with a greater effect vs. a littler error in a long period. It would get much greater percent error.

#$&*

• How accurately are you able to measure the positions of the ball and the pendulum in the initial video?

answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> (start in the next line):

Within .1 seconds due to pause and replay only though.
