A typical automobile coasts up a typically paved incline, stops, and coasts back down to the same position.
• When it reaches this position, is it moving faster, slower or at the same speed as when it began? Explain
answer/question/discussion: ->->->->->->->->->->->-> :
As the automobile coasts up an incline, then the car will be slower compared to when to began, because gravity has an impact on the car. As the car goes up the incline, gravity is acting against the car, which is pulling the car back and in turn slowing the car down until a complete stop. So, the car will be going at the same speed when it began and when it reaches the same position when it coasts back down the incline.
