Solution: Every second the velocity increases by 1.09 meters per second, so it   will take 14.57 / 1.09 second to increase by 14.57 meters per second. The answer is thus ( 14.57 meters/sec)/( 1.09 meters/sec/sec) = 13.36 sec.
