5.9 Contents
Developmental courses provide the basic
skills and knowledge necessary for success
in college level courses.
5.9.0 Credits Earned
Credits earned in developmental courses are
not applicable toward Associate Degree
programs; however, upon approval of the Vice
President of Instruction and Student
Services or designee, some developmental
courses may provide credit applicable to
diploma and certificate programs.
5.9.1 Course Level
For the purpose of eligibility for Federal
Title IV, Student Financial Aid (34 CFT
668.20), the College validates the course
level of its developmental courses.
5.9.2 Developmental Course Numbers
Developmental courses are those numbered
1-9.
