7.7 Flower Fund Guidelines
A Flower Fund has been established for all
members of our “College Family”
administration, faculty, adjunct faculty,
staff, part-time staff, the local College
Board, and the College Foundation Board. For
purposes of the Flower Fund, College Family
also includes members of a College Family
household and immediate family members
(husband, wife, child, parent, brother,
sister). Past members of the College Family
(retirees, former employees) will also be
given consideration depending on their
association with the College.
The treasurer of the Faculty Senate with the
assistance of all members of the College
Family will cooperate in administering the
Flower Fund. A voluntary $5 contribution
will be collected at the beginning of each
school year from all members of the College
Family. Remembrances will not be limited to
those who have contributed.
All members of the College Family are
encouraged to alert a College representative
(see list below) as soon as they learn of a
Flower Fund event. Please keep trying until
you reach one of these representatives.

In case of the death of a member of the
College Family, the Flower Fund will be used
to send flowers or to contribute to a
charitable organization on behalf of the
person. In case of illness or
hospitalization of a member of the College
Family, the Flower Fund will be used to send
an appropriate card.
The cost of the flowers will be limited to
$35 (plus tax and delivery). A contribution
in lieu of flowers will be limited to $35.
