Introductory Problem Sets, Physics II

You are to know how to solve the problems in the following sets.  For each item, a problem is posed and you are to solve it.  Then look at the solution and explanations to be sure you understand everything you can about that problem.  These problems will appear on your tests, and you will be expected to explain them and relate them to your experiments.

Set 1:  Charges at Rest:  Electrostatics

Set 2:   Charges moving through a Conductor:  Currents and Energy Relationships

Set 3:  Circuits

Set 4:  Magnetism

Sets 5, 6:  Fluids, Thermal Energy, Waves
